Spring Cleaning at Rivertowne BBQ
Kevin & I had a great couple of days of rest & relaxation at our favorite B&B the "Heartstone Inn" in Eureka Springs. There was about a ft. of snow on the ground when we arrived Sunday afternoon at 3:00. We don't get much rest at home because there is always work to be done around the house and the restaurant seems to come home with us. It is really nice to get away for a couple of days every four or five months and just relax and do nothing. On Wed. morning we all met at the restaurant to do our annual spring cleaning and what used to take two days, we did in one because there were 25 of us. We had cake & ice cream to celebrate 4 birthdays in March-Jamie, Pam, Amber & Sarah. Happy Birthday to ALL of US! The prep-cooks came in for a few hours on Thurs. to start cooking & preparing the side dishes and they finished up Fri. morning in time for us to open back up at 11:00. It was great to all of those who came in over the weekend! Our 2nd annual canoe trip is coming up soon...

WEERRRE BACK!
Rivertowne will open tomorrow at 11:00 and resume our normal business hours. The lunch specials for Friday will be the Smoked Catfish or Rib lunch which comes with 1 side & drink. The Friday Evening specials are the Big Porker Rib dinner for two comes with 4 sides, 2 drinks & 2 cobblers or Smoked Catfish dinner comes with 2 sides, drink & cobbler. ROBERT CRAY IN CONCERT
Multiple Grammy winner & "Blues Legend" Robert Cray is coming to the Fort Smith Civic Center Feb. 26th. Kevin & I saw Robert Cray when he was the opening act for Eric Clapton in 2007 and he was great! Rivertowne BBQ will be selling General Admission tickets for $20.

New Wednesday Lunch Special
You will now have a choice of a smoked bologna sandwich or smoked chicken breast plate for the Wednesday lunch special. They both come with one side dish and a drink. Kevin went to KDYN radio station early this morning to do an ad promoting an Animal Shelter in our town of Ozark-which is very much needed & long overdue.
